Dan Scougall CPA - Director
Dan Scougall CPA is the Firm Director with over 19 years experience in Taxation. Dan started as an accountant at the age of 19 whilst completing his university degree.
In 2008 he commenced as a partner in an accounting firm, and at the age of 22 he was one of the youngest starting accounting firm partners in the country. He successfully grew the business over his time with the practice and made the change in 2018 to pursue his own venture, Next Level Taxation. His passion is working with small businesses and SMSF clients.
Dan has had a vast work experience outside accounting including Plastering, Retail work, Nursery Operations and Farming, and still operates a small farm North of Gayndah QLD. He also has an active interest in Property development.
He has a obsession for anything cars, having previously been heavily involved in speedway and still enjoys his Muscle Cars, Racing occasionally, Muay Thai and spending time with his young family.
Marisa Thompson - Administration
Marisa has completed a certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting and has a career background in administration wtihin allied health, construction and accounting industries.
While Marisa is more of a home body, she does enjoy getting out and about on a trail ride when she can and spending time with her ever growing family.
Marisa is looking forward to becoming an integral part of the Next Level Taxation Team.
